Silk is a woven, natural silk cloth for polishing with 6 – 3 µm diamonds and for final polishing with 1 – 0.25 µm diamonds and oxide polishing suspensions. This cloth can also be used for fine grinding of ferrous metals.

Silk provides maximum planeness and best edge retention.

Use medium forces; 15 – 25 N on a 30 mm sample.
